11 EPB II Lo-Lead

Inspired by 2011 ENGL Powerball II

The model 11 EPB II Lo-Lead it is designed to deliver controlled, dynamic and less compressed distortion, ideal for:

  • Rock, hard rock and expressive leads
  • Defined and articulated rhythms
  • High gain sounds but more “open” than Hi-Lead mode

It's a cross between Crunch and Hi-Lead: less gain, more dynamics and more control.

BEHAVIOR OF THE AMPLIFIER

  • More open and dynamic high gain
  • Less compressed than Hi-Lead
  • Excellent definition in the rhythms
  • It responds better to the touch and volume of the guitar

Advice:

Final advice:

  • Use Lo-Lead to rock and expressive leads
  • Use Hi-Lead to metal and extreme gain
  • Mid Boost ON → always useful in live performances
  • Perfect balance between dynamics and distortion
