Inspired by Providence® DBS-1 Bass EQ

“Dual channel” EQ (A/B) inspired by analog preamps/EQs allows you to have two different settings that can be switched on the fly.

GENERAL FUNCTION

3-band music equalizer (Bass / Mid / Treble).

Two independent channels:

Channel A
Channel B

Global control for each channel (Master).

Ideal for:

pass by rhythm → solo
change timbre live with one click
create two different sounds in the same preset

Control Parameters

CHANNEL A

Bass AdB

Range: approximately −12 → +12 dB
Frequencies: ~80–150 Hz

Function:

check low

Mid AdB

Range: −12 → +12 dB

Function:

average boost/cut

Mid Freq AHz

Range: ~300Hz – 3kHz

Function:

select the frequency of the averages

Very important for character

Treble AdB

Range: −12 → +12 dB
Frequencies: ~4–10 kHz

Function:

check high

Master A%

Range: 0 – 100%
Global volume of channel A

Used for:

balance output
boost for solo

assigned to footswitch

Pro Tips

Master A/B changes the volume → watch out for live imbalances
Mid Freq is the key to the sound
it's not surgical like PARA EQ → more musical

Best use:

Channel A = basic sound
Channel B = variant (solo / bright / lead)

Avoid:

volume differences that are too large
