The model Anxiety OD v2 It is the updated version of the pedal Anxiety OD, with improvements in tonal character and dynamics, ideal for:
- Rock
- Modern blues
- Hard rock
- Fusion
Pedal platform: excellent with already saturated amplifiers or boost pedals.
I play more defined and musical compared to the original model.
Differences compared to the original Anxiety OD:
- More transparent and dynamic character → maintains definition even with high drive
- More precise Lo-Hi → allows more marked tonal character selection
- More balanced tone → less emphasis on extreme frequencies, more natural
Control Parameters
Level%
Control the pedal output volume:
- Low → low sound
- High → boost the signal without altering the tone
Drives%
Control the amount of saturation:
- Low → light and defined crunch
- High → intense overdrive, long sustain
Tone%
Controls the high frequencies and character of the sound:
- Bass → softer and warmer sound
- High → bright and punchy
Lo-HiY/N
Select the overall tonal character:
- The → emphasizes low frequencies, full-bodied and round sound
- Hi → emphasizes high frequencies, bright and cutting sound
Ideal for adapting the pedal to the mix, guitar pickup or amplifier.
Pro Tips
Differences from Anxiety OD:
- Level (%): Same operation, but more linear in the interaction with the Gain
- Drives (%): More defined at high levels, less “fuzzy” than v1
- Tone (%): More natural balance, less extreme emphasis
- Lo-Hi: More precise and musical ranges than v1
Advice:
- Medium drive + Lo → full-bodied and musical crunch
- Drive high + Hi → bright and defined overdrive
- Tone → adjusts brightness more naturally
- Level → balances the pedal with other effects or amplifiers
