The Square-Phase is a non-traditional phaser that uses:
- LFO a square wave
- Movement not fluid but in steps
- More rhythmic effect than classic phasers
Main features:
- “Digital” Phaser
- Clear movement
- Ideal for rhythmic patterns
Different from the classic phaser (sine/triangular)

Movement speed:
- 0.2–0.5 Hz → slow and pronounced
- 0.5–1 Hz → rhythmic
- 1.5+ Hz → very fast / almost tremolo
Here it becomes “rhythmic”

- Want groove → medium rate
- Want effect → high rate
- You want ambient → slow rate
