Headrush Vib / Trem / Rotary
Panner
Inspired by Avid® Panner (Eleven Rack)
Stereo auto-panning effect shifts the signal between:
- left (L)
- right (R)
rhythmically or continuously
GENERAL FUNCTION
Modulates stereo position over time.
Create:
- movement
- breadth
- groove
Ideal for:
- ambient
- funk
- electronics
- live stereo
Control Parameters
SyncY/N
- ON: synced to BPM
- OFF: free speed (Hz)
Rate influence
RateHz / note value
Movement speed:
- slow: large movement
- medium: groove
- fast: stereo tremolo
In Sync:
- values like 1/4, 1/8, 1/16
L/R Pan%
Center stereo position:
- 0%: center
- negative: further to the left
- positive: further to the right
Position offset
Delayµs
Delay between channels:
- small → natural stereo
- high → Haas effect (stereo width)
creates spatiality
Shape%
shape of the modulation wave:
- low: smooth (sine)
- medium: more defined
- high: square (on/off)
Influences the “feel”
Depth%
amplitude of movement:
- low: light
- medium: evident
- high: hard L/R
How far the sound travels
Pro Tips
- High Depth → can be tiring to listen to
- High delay → risk of mono problems
- High shape → “cut” effect
- Fast rate → similar to tremolo
For musical use:
- Medium Depth
- Shape smooth
For wide stereo:
- Medium Delay + Medium Depth
Quick Reference
- Sync: sync tempo
- Installments: speed
