Feedback

Inspired by HeadRush® Original

Effect that simulates the natural feedback of the amplifier without having to stand in front of the speaker

GENERAL FUNCTION

Generate a controlled and in tune feedback

Can be:

  • natural (unity)
  • harmonic (4th/5th/octave)

Ideal for:

  • infinite sustain
  • expressive leads
  • rock/ambient effects

Control Parameters

Volume%
  • Range: 0 – 100%
  • Feedback volume

Effect:

  • bass → light sustain
  • medium → natural
  • high → dominant
Mix%

Blend between original signal and feedback

Behavior

  • 0%: dry
  • 40–60%: natural
  • 70–100%: dominant feedback
RangeHz

Frequencies on which the feedback is activated

Effect:

  • low → low frequencies
  • medium → lead zone
  • high → sharp feedback

Very important for control

Attackms

Activation time

  • low: immediate
  • medium: natural
  • high: slow fade-in
Releasems

Decay time

  • low: fast stop
  • medium: natural
  • high: long sustain

Pro Tips

  • High volume → can dominate
  • High mix → less control
  • Wrong range → “strange” feedback
  • Attack too fast → artificial

Realistic Setup:

  • Medium attack
  • Medium release
  • Moderate mix

Trick:

  • use Range to “tune” the feedback

Quick Reference

  • Modes: feedback type
  • Volume (%): level
  • Mix (%): blend
  • Range (Hz): frequencies
  • Attack (ms): activation
  • Release (ms): decay
