Headrush Volume & Dynamics
Volume
Inspired by HeadRush® Original
Global volume control such as pedal volume can be:
- static (fixed)
- controlled by expression pedal
GENERAL FUNCTION
Adjust the signal level.
It can simulate:
- pedal volume
- manual swell
- live dynamic control
Control Parameters
Volume%
- Range: 0 – 100%
- Maximum volume level
Behavior
- 0%: mute
- 50%: half volume
- 100%: full
If assigned to the pedal it controls the level in real time
Min Volume%
- Range: 0 – 100%
- Minimum volume when the pedal is fully closed
Behavior
- 0%: total silence
- 10–30%: light background
- high: always audible
Very useful for:
- avoid total silence
- maintain environment
LinearY/N
Type of volume curve
Behavior
- ON (Linear): uniform variation (“technical” response)
- OFF (Logarithmic) more natural response (analog pedal-like behavior)
Pro Tips
- Linear ON → less natural for live use
- Min Volume high → less dynamics
- Position in the chain is fundamental
Best use:
- Linear OFF
- Min Volume 0%
Trick:
- put it on before delay/reverb for perfect swells
Quick Reference
- Volume (%): maximum level
- Min Volume (%): minimum level
- Linear: curve
