  • Range: 0 – 100%
  • Function: pedal position

Behavior

  • 0%: closed filter (dark, bassy)
  • 50%: averages highlighted
  • 100%: open filter (very bright)

More Wah Feature:

  • Wider sweep than Black Wah
  • more hiking on the high mountains

More “modern” and edgy sound

Level%
  • Range: 0 – 100%
  • Function: effect output level

Behavior

  • low: more controlled effect
  • medium: balanced level
  • high: more presence/boost

Difference compared to “Make-Up Gain”

  • Level (%) is more “musical” (like internal effect volume)
  • it is not expressed in dB but as a percentage

Useful for:

  • bring out the wah in the solos
  • compensate for volume loss

Pro Tips

  • High level → risk of clipping
  • Pedal high → can become very bright
  • wide sweep → less “vintage”, more modern
