Delay Headrush
Time Warp
Inspirado en Digitech® Space Station (Warp Mode)
The Time Warp is an advanced delay that modifies the repetition time dynamically, creating:
- “Speed up/slow down” effects
- Time distortions
- Modern and experimental textures
Main features:
- Non-linear delay
- “Warped” repetitions
- Glitch/ambient effects
It's not a normal delay → it's creative
SOUND CHARACTER
- Repetitions that change over time
- Sound unstable and dynamic
- “Tape speed / glitch” effect
- Great for ambient and FX
It can be: Subtle (chorus-like) Extreme (glitch)
Parámetros de Control
SyncY/N
Synchronize the delay to the BPM:
- Y → musical divisions
- N → milliseconds
Delayms / Picklist
Basic delay time:
- 100–200 ms → short
- 300–500 ms → rhythmic
- 600+ ms → ambient
It is the basis on which the warp works
Feedback%
- Number of repetitions:
- Low → few
- Medium → sustain
- High → many
With high Warp = intense effect
Mix%
Effect Quantity:
- 0–20% → light
- 25–40% → noticeable
- 50%+ → dominant
TailsY/N
Queue management:
- Y → continue
- N → immediate stop
Warps%
Amount of Delay Deformation:
- Low (0–20%) → near normal
- Medium (30–50%) → noticeable movement
- High (60–100%) → glitch/extreme effect
It is the main parameter
Pro Tips
- Want natural → Warp low
- Want movement → Medium Warp
- Want glitch effect → High Warp
- You want ambient → Long Delay + High Feedback
Universal setup:
- Delay: 400 ms
- Feedback: 35%
- Mix: 30%
- Warps: 25%
Creative yet musical sound
For the “tape meltdown” effect:
- Warp high
- High feedback
unstable sound
