- 412 → checkout 4x12” (closed back)
Sound character
Compared to Tread212:
- more bass big and deep
- more sound pressure (“live” feel)
- slightly hollowed middles
- high defined
- greater “wall of sound”
Result: modern, powerful, wide and aggressive sound
Perfect for:

- heavy hard rock
- djent (less extreme than 212)
- high gain leads
- “big” rhythms

Tread412 may have “fizz” on highs
Realistic range:
- 6 kHz → 8.5 kHz
Examples:
- Rock: 6.5 kHz
- Metal: 7–7.5 kHz
- Djent: 7.5–8 kHz
Rule: eliminate harsh while maintaining definition
LoCut (Hz)
Cuts low frequencies
CRUCIAL parameter for 4x12 high gain
Realistic range:
- 90Hz → 140Hz
Examples:
- Rock: 100 Hz
- Metal: 120 Hz
- Djent: 130–140 Hz
Rule: more LoCut = tighter less LoCut = more “weight”

If the sound is:
- too “boomy” → raise LoCut
- too “fizzy” → lower HiCut
- poorly defined → lower Gain
- not “big” → lower LoCut slightly
