The DYN 7 is a virtual dynamic microphone based on the famous Shure SM7, a studio and broadcast standard
Main features:
- Sound full, warm and controlled
- High soft (never aggressive)
- Excellent management of low frequencies
- Very response smooth and natural
It is one of the most “musical” microphones in the HeadRush library.
Frequencies
- Low → full and round
- Medium → natural, slightly soft
- High → blunt, never sharp
Compared to the Dyn57: less attack, more body
Dynamic response
- Very controlled and linear
- He doesn't overemphasize the pick attack
- Perfect for sounds smooth and naturally compressed
Natural compression
- Light compression felt
- More "glued" sound in the mix
- Less harsh than aggressive dynamics
