1x12 combo Peavey ValveKing (closed/semi-open feel) features:
- more compact than 4x12
- less “hi-gain” than the 6505
- more balanced and controlled
- SOUND CHARACTER
- low contained but solid
- mids slightly present (but not Marshall)
- tall quite clean
- answer modern but not extreme
- in practice half between Classic 112 (vintage), 6505 112 (metal)

- this cab -> very flexible improves slightly with distance
Mic Axis (On/Off)
- Hon → brighter
- OFF → softer
- here -> ON by definition OFF for naturalness
Low (dB)
- negative → tighter
- positive → more body
- this cab: controlled bass → you can boost slightly
High (dB)
- negative → less bright
- positive → more presence
- here -> often already balanced small boosts work
Delay (ms)
- useful for -> simulating larger cab
Ambience (Y/N)
- OFF → close mic
- ON → room
Amb Level (dB)
- low → natural
- high → ambient
Amb Size (ms)
- 20–40 → small room
- 40–80 → study
- 80–120 → large
here: it helps to give depth
