The 1x15 Open Back it is a cabinet characterized by:

  • Sound large, warm and very natural
  • Deep but not “boxy” bass
  • Great dispersion thanks to the open back design
  • Ideal for clean, blues, jazz and even light bass

Axis (Y/N)

Microphone position:

  • Y (On-axis) -> brighter and more direct
  • N (Off-axis) -> softer and more ambient

Off-axis enhances the open back character

Breakup (%)

Simulate cone saturation:

  • Bass -> wide and natural clean
  • Medium -> warmth and light compression
  • High -> More noticeable vintage breakup

On this cab the breakup is very musical and smooth

Out Gain (dB)

Check the output volume:

  • Negative -> attenuation
  • 0 dB -> neutral
  • Positive -> boost
Amp Gain (dB)

Check the input level:

  • Negative -> less thrust
  • 0 dB -> neutral
  • Positive -> more dynamics and response

It greatly influences the "breath" of the cab
